Cappadocia is easily accessible by flight or bus if you are coming from prominent tourist attractions like Istanbul, Selcuk or Pamukkale. Mainly there are two airports – Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV) and Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR).
By Flight
Taking a flight is the swiftest and easiest way to reach your dream destination. It’s a good idea to plan your mode of transportation before travelling around popular travel seasons.
Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport (NAV):
Nevsehir Kapadokya Airport is located 40 minutes away from the city centre. Turkish Airlines has daily flights from Istanbul, Antalya and Izmir to Nevsehir airports in the summer. Turkish and Anadolu Jet airline customers get shuttle service to Cappadocia city centre for approximately 35TL. If you choose a different airline service, you can hire a taxi, rent a car or get in touch with the hotel manager for a pickup.
Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR):
Kayseri Erkilet Airport is around 70 minutes east of Cappadocia. Since it is 70 minutes away from Cappadocia, the conveyance is a bit expensive. Kayseri is a crucial transport point in Central Anatolia, holding a new modern terminal. There are shuttle buses flexible with your flight times, taking you to and fro your hotel in any Cappadocian town for an affordable price.
By Bus
It is cheaper and more convenient to take a bus ride across the panoramic views of the historic place. You can also experience Turkish culture and heritage much more than epic sceneries.
