Things to see in Urgup
- Sehir Hamami:
This region has numerous remnants of the Ottoman Empire. Sehir Hamami in Urgup, one of the last Turkish baths constructed under the empire, still invites the world to learn more about the regime's legacy through its architecture and traditions.
- Old stone houses in Temenni Tepesi:
Like other destinations of Cappadocia, Urgup also has vast stone houses prevailing as traces of history. Temenni Tepesi or Wish hill offers a steep hike to enjoy a top view of the place from almost the center of Urgup.

Urgup is flourished with several historical museums that episode the history of the heritage land before you.

However, the service could have been better. Our pick-up was late and due to this we missed the balloon preparation part.

We stayed in a beautiful hotel in Urgup with a rooftop terrace that offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It was the perfect spot for watching the sunset with a glass of wine.

Urgup is a photographer’s dream. Everywhere you look there’s a stunning vista or a unique architectural detail to capture on film. I took so many amazing photos during my stay.
